Mexico is a pre-dominantly Catholic country with a growing Presbyterian, Episcopal and Evangelical population. There are many religious holidays and feasts and the general population is quite religious with many strongly devoted to the cult of the Virgin of Guadalupe. Naturally the churches are more crowded during religious holidays. See the Events schedules for a listing of religious holidays.
