Natural wonders include the Great Maya Reef, cenotes (freshwater sinkholes), mangroves, savannahs and jungle. There are a number of ecoparks along the coast offering a great variety of outdoor activities and south of the Riviera Maya is the famous Sian Ka’an biosphere.
